Modelling
From the fundamentals of ceramics techniques through relief, figural ceramics
to original ceramic sculpture. Of the 16 programs in the modelling branch, the
2011 season contains the two basic levels M1 and M2 and also
program M3 – Fundamentals of Figural Sculpture, once again
under the guidance of Assis. Prof. Academic Sculptor Ivica Langerová
Vidrová.
As we have confirmed that
a sketch of a figure greatly simplifies its subsequent modelling, we have
prepared a weekend course MF – The figure –
Preparatory Drawing for Sculpture under the leadership of
painter Nadia Verner. Don’t hesitate to enroll even if you don’t know how to
draw. You can learn. M4 – Relief and Jardinière will be
under the supervision of Jan Fabián. In addition to Japanese
Inspiration I and II, you can also work under Irena Hirai in the
autumn course M3S – Lights. Fans of František Švancar can attend the course
Ceramics for the Garden under his supervision. A weekend of
preparatory drawing is also being offered for this program: The
Landscape – Drawing Outdoors. This course will be instructed by the
painter, Jessica Mayne. We have also managed to include MK – Celtic
Ceramics with firing in the wood-fired koch kiln, with Petr Toms as
instructor. The modelling branch will once again culminate with M5 –
Ceramic Sculpture. This course with Academic Sculptor Jindra
Viková will be held twice with the same subject: Virtues and sins. Ceramic
sculpture with Assis. Prof. Academic Sculptor Ivica Langerová Vidrová will
concentrate on modelling real human figures.
