Less demanding participants in courses can use the couches in the cloakroom of the studio for sleeping free-of-charge if they bring their own sleeping bag or bedding. Other participants can take advantage of the accommodation facilities in the town. There is a very pleasant Pension very close to the school, with two- or three-bed rooms (reservations can be made at tel.: 499 392 241).
The municipality has a general store, bakery and a goat farm. The school has a small kitchen corner with an electric kettle and stove. Most participants take advantage of the restaurant facilities of the Pension mentioned above. There is an hour-long lunch break during teaching hours.
Our reading room on the ground floor of the school with a large range of Czech and foreign journals, books and catalogues on subjects related to ceramics is open two evenings a week. Some of the books can be borrowed for the duration of the course.
Participants can park their cars in the fenced-in garden of the school. There is no security service for the parking lot.
Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed in the garden of the school.
The school shop offers a wide range of ceramics materials, accessories and literature for participants and their home workshops (clays, engoba, Czech and imported glazes, colours and agent stains, throwing tools, glazing tools, brushes, transfers, jewellery components, wicker, cane, split cane, weaving wire, books and magazines about ceramics. We can also arrange for fully equipping school workshops, including potter’s wheels and kilns. We accept credit cards.
